Unfortunately no. At our Birdwood site you are unable to bring your dog due to surrounding animals. However, you are more than welcome to bring your well behaved dog to our apple orchard for apple picking during season (autumn) @Lenswood Pick Your Own.

No. We do not take bookings - first in best dressed here!

If you have a large group - you still do not need to book, we love a heads up, but not required!

Our pricing is very different, for good reason - you know exactly what you're up for right at the beginning.

Our entry fee INCLUDES a 700g bag of cherries to take home and allows you to eat cherries off of the tree as you go.

CHILD ENTRY 3-12 $18 per person

If you'd like to purchase more cherries in addition to what is included in your entry fee you can pre pay on the day. We have 1.5kg and 700g bags for additional purchase - the more you purchase the cheaper they are per kg. See below.

As a small family business, the way our pricing is structured and due to our insurance obligations we are unfortunately unable to accept companion cards. Everyone entering the orchard is required to pay the entry fee which includes cherries to take home and eating them off the tree. We will happily provide you a receipt if you need one.

You are able to bring extra bags and prams etc. into the facility, however, you are unable to take any prams or any bags of any manner into the actual cherry orchard as we frequently experience stealing. If you have a bag that needs to be with you at all times, for example that houses a medical device or you are using a mobility aid or wheel chair - you are able to take this in with you of course, please just highlight this to our friendly staff on arrival.

Absolutely! We have small children ourselves, 2 and 4 and they are easily able to pick cherries for them selves without having to be held up in the air. They love it! Our trees grow cherries from very low to the ground all the way up to the top of the trees.

This is up to you. We are a commercial farm. The farm has been set up to grow commercial fruit, not cater for wheel chairs and mobility aids as much as we try our best to make it as accessible as possible. That being said, our orchard is considerably flat and easily accessible compared to other locations which are extremely hilly. However, it is important to consider if using a wheelchair you will be pushing one on grass and potentially on uneven terrain - this is the same for 4 wheel walkers. We also do not have disabled toilets as we are unable to due to council regulations. As we are both nurses, we try our very best to be able to accommodate everyone however, we understand the reality of challenges that may occur using mobility aids on a commercial farm. Feel free to contact us for further information as we are more than happy to help, however, we can not guarantee that we can cater for people will mobility issues.

No you do not need a booking for a large group - we'll happily welcome your group to the orchard!

We are also able to park large buses.

Yes we do, our car park is large and able to park buses easily!
